Join ESPAN RWA

ESPAN (Electronic and Small Press Authors Network was created for Romance Writers of America® who are published in alternative format (including e-publishing, small press, trade paperback, etc.). All authors, whether published by a RWA approved publishing house or otherwise are welcome to join ESPAN as a published author or an author persuing publication. Membership of ESPAN shall be composed of published authors (General Members) and those persons seriously pursuing a writing career, as well as other related professionals, who are members in good standing of National RWA® (Associate Members). All individuals embracing the purposes of RWA® who agree to be bound by national RWA® bylaws of ESPAN RWA® shall be eligible for membership.

General membership shall be open to all RWA General members who are seriously pursuing a romance fiction writing career. Only General members shall have all rights of membership and only General members shall have the right to vote and the right to hold office. General members shall have full access to ESPAN’s general discussion listserves and forums.

Associate membership shall be open to all other RWA members who support the chapter and its purposes but who do not meet the requirements for General membership, including professionals and/or company executives in publishing or related industries such as acquiring editors, agents, booksellers, and librarians. Associate members shall not have any voting rights or the right to hold office. Associate members shall not have access to ESPAN’s general discussion listserves and shall have limited access to ESPAN’s forums.




ESPAN membership runs from October 1 through September 30.

GENERAL MEMBERSHIP
DUES $20.00 if joining October 1st to April 30th
$ 10.00 if joining after May 1st (but before October 1st)

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP
DUES $15.00 if joining October 1st to April 30th
$ 7.50 if joining after May 1st (but before October 1st)
